Mark Christie

I graduated from Durham University in 2024 with a Research Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise Sciences, specialising in force, velocity and body composition. Following the completion of my thesis, I began working in the middle office team as an Investment Administrator at AJ Bell. This role introduced me to the world of financial services and sparked my interest in investment management. During my time at AJ Bell, I was also fortunate enough to be mentored by a fund manager, which deepened my understanding of the industry.  

I thoroughly enjoy analysing and interpreting data, which is one of the main reasons I was drawn to the investment management industry. The field’s diversity and ever-changing nature, coupled with opportunities to utilise tools like Excel, make it particularly engaging. I thrive on working with people from a variety of backgrounds and I am committed to helping teams achieve their best. 

 I currently hold the Investment Management Certificate (IMC) from the CFA and I am passionate about continuous learning. I am now pursuing Level 1 of the CFA to better support Artorius and its clients. Outside of work, I enjoy watching MMA, playing and watching football as a devoted Manchester United fan, hiking, travelling and experimental cooking.
